New Sites

On that night I was "up all night" (Anyone remember that show on USA Networks? Or am I making that up? Here is the link) I found some interesting sites. Here are a few:
  • Cool Hunting: Stuff from the intersection of design, culture and technology - This guy has some very cool links and interesting/far-out stuff.
  • PVR Blog: Go here to learn more about Personal Video Recorders (also known as DVRs. ie: TiVo) and news/rumors about them.
  • Cool Tools: This guy takes suggestions from others and post cool tools that people can use, from software to Sheet Metal Worker's gear. Check out the T-Reamer! He says everyone should own one, but I'm not sure why!?
  • Kicks Finder: Anyone looking for real vintage Air Jordan's on e-bay? Use this site to filter all the junk.
  • Oculas: Luxury and technology have been strange bedfellows until now - This is a VERY strange machine, even with my standards.
  • Mobile Bee: Find the coolest new cellphones, who "cells" them, how much the plan will be, and which cellphone provider to use (obviously look for the US phones/providers). I wish I knew this before I made my decision to go with Verizon and my new LG cellphone.
  • Gizmodo: The gadgets blog - More gadget info and cool toys. This site actually has a funny bit about new "cellphone booths" (scroll down about 3/4 of the page).
  • Tree Hugger: The future is green. Find it here. - I know what you are thinking? "Tree Huggers"? There are some real cool things on this site, I mean REAL cool and inexpensive.
  • The Apartment: "...a design consultancy that caters to an international clientele..." - Expensive, but beyond your coolest dreams.
