I am sure you ladies will love it! This site is known to spot the cool things, before they are cool (fashion, dining, bars, fun, services, etc.). They've had sites around the country and have just started a Boston site. It's been in NYC for about 5 years now. They also have a daily newsletter (this is the way it was suggested to use, but they also send an ad-email once a week). Plus, they have an "Everywhere" section so that you just know when "Everything" is cool, "Everywhere"!
