"The Airbus A380, unveiled this week, will be the largest passenger airliner ever put into service when it starts commercial flights next year. It has a wingspan almost as wide as a football field is long and a tailfin seven stories high. Fully packed with economy-class passengers, it is capable of carrying 800 people, although most configurations will probably seat fewer than 600."
