Stefanie told us a story last night about a girl, let's call her Dairy Queen, who drinks a lot of milk! She said that D.Q. lives with her sister and they go through a gallon of milk everyday. All they have to drink at home is water and milk (rumor is, in the summer they have CrystalLite, shhh). This is D.Q.'s milk drinking habit, daily: Glass of milk with cereal (that already has milk in it). A glass at lunch. A glass with dinner. And a glass before going to bed. She sometimes drinks a glass of milk while watching TV. Also, sometimes after she works out and drinks water, she doesn't feel so full, so she has a glass of milk.
It turns out that when D.Q. was younger she didn't like vegetables. So her mom figured that she needed to have something healthy, and milk was the choice. D.Q. made a joke that neither she, nor her sister have ever had a broken bone. To that I said to Stefanie, I've drank about a gallon of milk in the past year (including cereal) and I don't have any broken bones. I then knocked on wood and jammed my finger (Sike! - But that would have been funny).
