Do you have a cell phone that you don't use and just sits there? Either it's from an old service provider, or just doesn't work anymore? Well, instead of letting it collect dust, make some money from it. A site called CellForCash will send you a pre-paid box to your house for you to send them your old cellphone(s). You can check the site to see how much they will offer for your phone, so you can decide before you send out the phone. Within 30 days of them receiving your phone they will send you a check. There are a few of these companies. Some donate the phones, some sell them to poorer countries at reduced rates, some sell them to people here (parents buy kid cellphone, kid loses it, parents buy a reduced rate phone, instead of paying crazy amounts for a new phone).
Also - Remember my previous post: Old cellphones (even those without service providers) can be used to make emergency 911 calls. So, it may be wise to keep one or two around for the house or car, just make sure they are fully charged.
