Konfabulator is a great piece of software that EVERYONE should use. Well, what does is do? Answer: anything and everything. It consists of a bunch of "widgets" that people have created. The "widgets" (like big icons) sit on your desktop. I use a weather widget, a internet search widget, and a digital clock widget to name a few. They also have lunar eclipse counters, calendars, analog clocks, music widgets, news tickers and hundreds more.
