Movie Review: The Incredibles

Anna got a "secret sneaky preview copy" from Tha Wood (Hollywood video, where she works part time, but is done with next week) before it comes out to the public.

What a great movie. We both really liked it. (Don't tell Anna, but I plan on buying it some day soon)

I discussed the movie with Liz who said it was a bit grown up but that it was the best movie she saw all year. We talked about how there were certain parts (Was Mr. Incredible cheating on his wife, Elastic Girl?) that may be over the kids heads. But, we also agreed that there were enough cool action parts to keep the kids attention. Also, the movie wasn't that long, another good point.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I don't agree with Boston.com's 4 star rating factor. If a movie isn't GREAT, it gets a 4, which is essentially 75%, a C. My star system allows there to be movies that don't quite make the elite status, but can get a respectable 80%, or a B-, which is far kinder than a C... even I know this, and trust me, I am very familiar with all of those grades below a 4 out of 4 rating.
