Jordan's Furniture

Reading, MA

Well, Anna and I made our first trip to the new, bigger Jordan's Furniture in Reading. Ok, I've heard that this place was big, but... WOW! It's, as Elf would say: "Ginormous!" This place is a "must see" when touring north of Boston.

Inside they have: A LOT of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans everywhere. Jelly beans on the wall, a Monster replica, complete with "Wally the Green Monster" eating a NY Yankee player; Huge ice cream sundae made of jelly beans over Richardsons Farms ice cream store; A statue of Paul Reveremade of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans...

Let me just show you what the store says:
"Walk into Jordan's Reading store and you walk into Beantown, a city made out of jelly-beans including Fenway’s Green Monster, The Sweet House, Beantown’s Big Dig, The Duck Tour Game, The Lenny Zakem Bridge with the only indoor Trapeze School in the country. You’ll be thrilled by Beantown’s Liquid Fireworks Show, our gigantic 500-seat Comcast IMAX 3D Theater, and room after room of gorgeous furniture displays in the store showrooms."

Anyways, the place is just a grand arena for ... furniture... good place to go for good furniture. However, as a friend remarked to me: "Maybe next time they should make it a 'kid-free store', or maybe just some 'kid-free days' "... ahh... if you go you will see what I mean.
