What's the plan for shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving... every year... by Anna, you ask? Wake-up wicked early... and go shopping!
Last time this happened? 2001. We woke up at 5AM or so and made it to Staples at 5:30 or so. They had some deal that we NEEDED. We got there a bit too early for Staples, so we stopped in next door at Toys 'R Us where they had free coffee and pop-tarts, what great people.
This years plan:
5:30AM - Get up
6:00-6:15AM - Leave the APT
6:45AM - at the mall shopping
What really happened?
5:30AM - Alarm goes off, I get up and set snooze for 30 minutes later...
6:00AM - Repeat step above, Anna nudges me, says that she wanted to get up early and leave, tells me to go to take a shower and get ready. My response: "Hey, I woke-up,you are late, you get up and get ready,wake me when you are done"
6:30AM - Repeat step above, w/o conversation
7:00AM - Repeat step above
7:30AM - Give up on getting up early
9:30AM - Finally get up and get going to the stores
Ah, I love it when we accomplish what we plan to do. You've got to love us!
