Gilligan, Dead at 70

Gilligan Island was one of my first memories of a sitcom. And Gilligan, the lovable klutz, was one of the funniest slapstick comedians I have ever seen. Hey, when you are 5 and watching re-runs of coconuts landing on a guys head a few dozen times, its pretty darn funny!

I just heard/read: Gilligan actually died on Aug. 2, 2005. What took so long for the media to announce his death? Conspiracy? Hold on friends, I'm going to look into this... to be continued
